Agent blå debut album was recorded by Gustav Data (Makthaverskan) and Tobias Bauer, in a studio in their hometown of Gothenburg, Sweden.
For a young band (16-20 years old) this is a classic sounding indie pop record with insightful lyrics. When Emelie Alatalo sings on ‘(Don’t) Talk To Strangers’ you can hear her heartbreak on falling in and out of love. It’s tender and beautiful while still incredibly heartbreaking.
Their name translates in English to Agent blue, which may sound caustic, indeed it was the go to arsenic in the Middle Ages, the Renaissance and for Agatha Christie and the Borgias, but it is known as an exceedingly stable compound. It's a fitting name for a band whose music is anything but sweet. Their brand of indie pop has particularly dark overtones. It is also bursting with the exuberance of youth, their sound is packed full of emotion: hope, frustration, and everything in between.
This is the 3rd single of their upcoming debut album.
